knitting in the round….

well, there were threats of learning to make socks on 2 circular needles but I’ve set that to the back boiler for now due to lack of time to hunt through my patterns for one to play with (and Mummsie being far too busy RESTING to set up the tutorial… or at least she’d BETTER BE resting….)  but, I wanted to make flip back mittens for my MIL for Christmas so I decided they would make a perfect begginers 2 circ project.  Know what?  it’s ACE!  no dropping those fating little dpns on the floor when finish a set, no being stabbed by the sharp pointy bits, no “ladders” where the stitches have stretched at the joins between sets, no dpns sliding off the stitches when you put it down (cos you can slide all the stitches onto the nice bendy bit of the circ.  So, Jax, if you are reading this, now you are getting the knitting bug (and will therefore NEED to learn how to do socks at some point….) don’t buy double point needles, by 2 circular needles the same size and save yourself the hassle!!!

(Broadband access to be restored soon….)
